100% The Wrong Message For Americans To Hear Right Now (pfblogs.org)

Am I reading this right? Did Obama mean this?:“Tonight, more Americans are out of work, and more are working harder for less. More of you have lost your homes, and even more are watching your home values plummet. More of you have cars you can’t afford to steer, credit card bills you can't afford to pay and tuition that’s beyond your reach.”The blame, he planned to say, lies squarely with “a broken politics in Washington and the failed policies of George W. Bush.”So....if I bought a car on loan,

UConn Huskies Shame The Pride 35-3

The UConn Huskies kicked off their 2008 campaign behind the strong running of Donald Brown who had 4 touchdowns as they went on to blast the Hofstra Pride 35-3 at Rentschler Field. The win for the Huskies was their 8th straight at home. Both the Pride and the Huskies looked a little tight early on in the game and after a turnover by Hofstra, Brown took over the game for the Huskies to help them put it out of reach. The Huskies dominated both sides of the ball and limited the overmatched Prid

Even though I may not show….I DO LOVE YOU

(Photos from Donabellas) When I read this line, my dad rolled up to my mind. He didn’t say he loves me or my two other sisters. He didn’t even show adore to us. The only emotion you could ever look on him is the irks when he sees something that he thought is displeasing and gladness if you do or give something good to him. The only memory of how he became a dad to me was when I saw him holding a piece of lumber when there was a big news that a group of bad guys who escaped the city jai

51 years and more fragmented than ever

51 years and more fragmented than ever A year ago, I complained about the bad traffic in the guide up to the National Day celebrations. At the time, Malaysia was to celebrate our 50th year of independance. Then, I complained some more on the 31 August itself, feeling quite unpatriotic. At the time, the fires of resentment were already spreading slowly through the Malaysian population, displeased at the way things were going, the way the country was heading and in general, displeased with the ru

Re: Linux is still not ready for Prime Time!! Rant - lets get together & fix it

Anyone can learn to play the piano. Even someone who just plays at home can devote their life to playing the piano. But a concert pianist results from a born talent to play the piano that very few gifted individuals have. I've known a few 'gifted' developers in my day, but I've worked with far more 'paid' software developers who would have been better off staying home to play the piano. Paid for work software will never be better, it will only receive created faster. I don't expect Linux applic
